This is the diagnostic and consult fee and includes the first ½ hr of labor.
You will receive drop-off/pickup address after checking out.
You don’t need to “book an appointment” just please let me know when to expect you.
Local service only, drop off/pickup. Mail in repairs not accepted at this time (except for modifications).
Current Turnaround time: 1 day - 1 week. +1 additional week if parts need to be ordered. If its a quick fix I’ll take care of it in the initial assessment and you can take it back same day.
Labor is billed in 15 minute increments:
Most repairs are done in less than 2 hours. If it seems like a big job that may surpass the value of the instrument, we will communicate with you first before taking it on.
You have a budget, we get it. Some parts can be hard to find or expensive, so we will communicate what your gear needs before we proceed with ordering any parts that exceed $20. If an OEM part is outrageously expensive there are often work-alikes and work arounds. Our goal is to maximize functionality and keep your gear serving you and out of landfills.
On the flip side, if money is of no object and you want the best of the best parts for your beloved vintage heirloom piece, we can do that too, of course! Let us know what you need!
